New Heights of Art Snobbery At the New York Times

"Culture, Rolling Into Towns On Big Rigs"

If you look very closely at the words printed on this art fag's toy truck, you can read: "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

Gee, I wonder who he and the New York Times are referring to?

The bottom panel (in red) reads: "Look for the moment when pride becomes contempt."

Thanks Mister holier-than-thou New York Art Fag, for telling us how to think. Your illusionist friends at the nation's newspaper of record already have that under control, though.

A New Twist on Macbeth that the Times Dare Not Sayeth

From the Arts Section last week, this review of a giant new Broadway production of Macbeth by Times communist and theater critic Ben Brantley is noteworthy for that which the Times selectively chooses not to mention.

The Usual Drivel From The Times, With A Twist

3/29/1 - Click to Enlarge
"Three Month Nightmare Emerges in Rape Inquiry"

"Suit Says Jesuits Ignored Warnings About Priest"

"Arriving As Pregnant Tourists, Leaving With American Babies"

As the Arab world burns and Japan radiates, our humble reality contortionist friends at the New York Times are busy keeping their anti-Western agenda alive: refusing to discuss the racial nature of the Texas rape case (the 19 fertile and tumescent blacks {even the Times reports that one of the rapist teens already has five chirren from four different baby mammas} who raped an 11 year-old taco bunny in Texas); unearthing decades-old, totally fucking irrelevant abuse allegations against the Catholic Church (while giving Islam in all its forms a pass, whenever, wherever); and, finally, talking in a very circumspect way about the sickening practice of Birth Tourism, whereby pregnant Turd Worlders from China, Turkey and elsewhere, are encouraged to show up on our hospitable shores to shit out a little Turd World Baby, who is then instantly granted US citizenship, thanks to an early lib-tard provision of our own US constitution, which, predictably, in the aftermath of the War Of Northern Aggression reached out to black african American former slaves, in a nicey-nice intended to make them comfy.

There is scarcely a thing that makes me more sick to my stomach than the thought of a preggers turd worlder flying into the US, all the while using Western technology to get her here, Western infrastructure to facilitate the whole deal, and Western laws to ensure her safe arrival and later stamp of American citizenship approval on the lop-sided head of her little turd world Chinese bambino mongolooid. Sorry, but I'm a little xenophobic, what can I tell you?

People need to comprehend the very Shakespearian notion of the group vs the individual (Romeo and Juliet, anyone?) dynamic that explains to a great extent what is perceived in the modern world as racism: there is nothing more healthy, more natural, more gentlemanly, than my holding the door at a Starbucks for a pregnant Chinese woman; for me to potentially loathe her people, her civilization, and everything it stands for - insofar as it might pose a danger to my OWN civilization one day - is the very height of civilizational sanity.

But I digress a smidgeon...

It is interesting that the New York Times even published what some might see as a slightly anti-birthright citizenship article on its front page today. Notice however the way that the NYT DOES seem to condemn the anti-birthright citizenship movement (God, what รด WHAT could be a more legitimate struggle, than seeking to repeal the law that makes it possible for these nasty foreigners to fly over, and while sneering at our stupidity and naievete the whole time, fart out a dark little slanty-eyed invader, who with US passport in hand, will in 21 years be eligible to petition for the parents and grandparents to come to the US to suck on the public tit): on page TWO of today's national edition, in their "Quotation of the Day", the reality magicians at Amerika's newspaper of record publish a quote from a person featured in today's front page article. It goes like this:
"I think it deserves a lot more study and a lot more attention. But to say that you want to change the Constitution because of this feels like killing a fly with an Uzi." - ANGELA MARIA KELLY, an immigration expert for a liberal-leaning research group, on foreign women giving burf in the United States so that their babies will be American citizens.

Misunderstanding Qaddafi, and Burning "IQ and the Wealth of Nations"

David Brooks: "The Ego Advantage"

Mister Brooks could of course ask that same question of just about any regime in Africa: what about Robert Mutabe in Zimbabwe? Why has the Times remained silent about the shenanigans happening in the former breadbasket of the Dark Continent?

Answer: because the Times will do anything to explain away the reality of why Africa is poor, why Europeans colonized most of it in the first place (and then gave their former subjects self-rule, and then gave them the  means through foreign aid to massively out-breed the West), why the continent is in permanent chaos with no end in sight,  and why indeed the "Arab Spring" that the Times reports on with such breathless glee is nothing more than a giant social justice campaign enabled by Western elitism.

Professor Tatu Van Hanen of Finland (father of former Finnish Prime Minister Matti Van Hanen) in his book "IQ and the Wealth of Nations," generously attributes a national IQ of 84 to Libya (Zimbabwe's is 66; Morocco's 85; Iraq's 87).

And it would appear pretty obvious to the casual observer that more than being eccentric, Qaddafi is just plain dumb. But for the NYT to question a fellow earthling's innate ability would be to raise questions that the reality police do not tolerate. Therefore, rather than offend, the Times misinforms. It's as simple and as sad as that.

The New York Times: Playing It Safe Since 1981

The Devious Diversity Capos at the New York Times Try to Sneak One Past Us

Original Caption Reads: "Tuan N'Gai, left, and his partner,
Erin Kelly, recently moved to the Atlanta area from
Washington, D.C." Now, What's Confusing About That?
As we have pointed out in previous posts, the crypto-delusional population replacement fanatics at the NYT are giddy with glee as the results of the 2010 Census continue to reveal the success of the  social engineering agenda initiated by crusading white liberals over the course of the past few decades. Almost half of all children in the country today are minorities (non-white). HALF! The disingenuous do-gooder altruism athletes at the Times are breaking out the alcohol-free champagne, because it is working:  their campaign to purge the nation of its hated indigenous population is on track to be fulfilled ahead of schedule.

In another Census-happy article published on the front page of today's national edition entitled "Many U.S. Blacks Moving to South, Reversing Trend," Times communists Sabrina Tavernise and Robert Gebeloff (big surprise there!) report with glee on the changing face of the nation: it is mercifully becoming  more diverse, more "inclusive," and more just, they say.

Translation: the Times' relentless campaign to foist diversity upon the nation and undo the traditional bedrock of Western Civilization is succeeding. Yee-hah !

We will surely see a lot more of this in the coming days. Here at COTT, nothing coming out of the pages of Amerika's newspaper of record shocks us any more.

Nevertheless, we felt it our duty to speak out on the incredibly dubious photo proudly reprinted on this blog without permission above. Please take a closer look at this photo that the Times in their infinite sneakiness tried to slip past us: it shows two black males people, who for the purposes of the article "U.S. Blacks Moving to South, Reversing Trend" are meant to symbolize the changing dynamic of the African American population in the United States. Upon closer inspection, one is forced to wonder whether the large, bespectacled, balding negro in the foreground is a male or a female of the species, given the very obvious cleavage and the nature of the article. And then, when one reads the caption: "Tuan N'Gai and his Partner Erin...," one is left even more confused: which one is the female in this apparent couple? Which one is Erin? Isn't "Erin" a female name?

The ambiguity is intentional, obviously. And the New York Times is a sick, sick, sick institution for trying to pull crap like this.

The Pro-Shariah Dhimmis at the New York Times Surprise Even Us With this Celebration of Anti-Western Jihadist Ideology

3/21/11 - Click to Enlarge
From yesterday's Sunday Magazine, we have Times communist Andrea Elliott (big surprise there) giving us yet another pro-Islam / anti-Western love-fest of a propaganda puff piece entitled "Why Yasr Quadhi Wants to Talk About Jihad."

And the subtitle of the article is: "There is a way to stop extremism, but it's not palatable for americans." (Translation: the diversity enforcers at Amerika's newspaper of record want you to know that for these stone-age students of the Koran, and its prophet peas be upon him the pedophile Mohammed, esteemed impregnator of 9 year old girls, Bedouin camel-herding dirty-beard barbarian dog-beater, it's too late now: there can be peace, there can be an end to "extremism," but only once the West submits 100% to the ways of Islam). (Which of course we all know, the very word "Islam" means "submission" in Arabic. The good liberals will say: "Sure, that's true, but by 'submission' they mean submission to Allah.").

This is dhimmitude on a whole new level even for the reality contortionists at the New York Times.

Why are the fucknuts at the New York Times so in love with these people?

The Times Uses Japan's Bad Luck as an Excuse to Relaunch the No-Nukes Movement

3/19/11 - Click to Enlarge

If you've been watching coverage of the nightmare unfolding in Japan, you might have noticed a curious site: mere hours after the biggest earthquake in human history, then a tsunami that makes Hurricane Katrina look like a spring drizzle, most of the major roadways in the affected areas of Japan appeared to be cleared of debris and passable. (See exceptional footage here and here).

The international media in general and the New York Times in particular is having a wrenching time dealing with the inevitable comparisons to disaster response in Japan vs Haiti.

But the Times' priorities are elsewhere at the moment, and explaining away Hatitian chaos and Japanese civility in the wake of disaster will have to be limited to such diversionary puff pieces as "Just Days Before Election, Aristide Returns to Cheers and Uncertainty in Haiti." The impending nuclear meltdown at "Fuck You, Shima!" is for the marxist reality fugitives at Amerika's newspaper of record a golden opportunity to return to the innocence of the Three Mile Island era, when deluded white liberals turned out in droves to protest nuclear energy and listen to Jackson Brown, and suburban moviegoers could feel better about themselves and claim to be enlightened environmentalists because they had seen "The China Syndrome" at the mall.

In an article published on page A12 of the International Section of today's national edition, wishful-thinkingly entitled "Japan Crisis Could Rekindle U.S. Antinuclear Movement," Times communist Leslie Kaufman talks about the glorious no-nukes rally held in the shadow of the Twin Towers in 1979, and quotes a man who is obviously a hero for her, Graham Nash of Crosby Stills and Nash:
"It was the peak of the antinuclear movement, and campaigners felt that policymakers were finally awakening to their message. “The circumstances all came together — it was like energetic waves converging, and it was pretty powerful,” Mr. Nash said. “There has not been a nuclear plant built since.”
Of course Kaufman fails to see the irony of publishing a photo of an anti-nukes rally that includes the Twin Towers: what she is trying to glorify and revive is the exact same no-nukes movement that helped to tip the balance of power towards and enrich the stuck-in-the-stone-age Islamists who would knock those towers down a mere two decades later.

And in the same way that the NYT plays down the significance of the civilized manner in which the Japanese respond to calamity, the Times also refuses to touch with a ten-foot pole another major elephant in the room: the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan is operated by Japanese, but it was conceived and built by Western engineers from General Electric in 1971. Nuclear energy is very much a  Western innovation (thanks Einstein, thanks Oppenheimer), not something that Japan as a civilization was on track to develop on her own without outside assistance.

Progressives and universal egalitarians don't want you to understand that the modern world in all its manifestations is basically a byproduct of Western thinking. From paved roadways, to electricity, to modern medicine, to internal combustion, to the improvements in infrastructure these things enabled every non-Western civilization on earth to achieve, notably the massive demographic transformations  in their favor that were made possible as a result, all of these things are a direct result of Western innovation. And yet the world at large does not seem to be very grateful to Western Civilization for all the innovations that have made it possible for them to engage in a global population-replacement campaign (one in three people on earth was European in 1950; in 2050 it will be one in 20), to prosper and multiply in other words, and to get to connect on Facebook. I suppose we can't blame them, egged on as they are by the self-loathing diversity enforcers at such fiendish Western institutions as the New York Times.

One small example of the Times' excessive humility, can be seen in an article published today on page A11 entitled "Try- Anything Strategy In Nuclear Crisis Draws Criticism, and Sympathy," that starts off like this:
" For a country that is known for its industrial robots, advanced cellphones and hybrid vehicles, Japan’s efforts to cool the hobbled nuclear reactors in Fukushima Prefecture have seemed, at least to a world watching on television, to be decidedly low-tech."
Now, it is true that Japan has become a leader in these three technological fields. But what the Times criminally does not even hint at, is that all three of these fields - not to mention the nuclear reactor that is at the core of the story! - were initially developed on Western innovations.

It would have been more honest for the New York Times to at least pay some lip service to the historical reality that Asians make excellent copycats, but relatively poor innovators. They may be smarter than Westerners IQ-wise, but what they possess in higher intelligence they lack in creativity.

The Pointy-Headed Diversity Enforcers at the NYT Prove How Cool They Are By Glorifying the Dregs of Society

3/13/11 - Click to Enlarge
They've done this before, and they'll do it again: the New York Times seems to take some sick pleasure in glorifying the lowest of the low. Whether it is a proven murderer freshly released from death row, or a career criminal who lands a role in a film and is later given a standing ovation by the New York Times readers at the Sundance Film Festival, the stricken professional morality competitors at the Times like to show how morally superior they are by publishing gushing portraits of the very worst specimens of humanity. In a breathless love-fest of an article appearing prominently (above the fold) in the New York section of today's national Sunday edition entitled "A Prison Yard Workout, Far Outside the Yard," Times communist Corey Kilgannon tells the bittersweet story of redemption of one Robert Salzman, a two-bit lowlife of a career criminal to COTT readers, but a Rocky-like rockstar figure to the reality fugitives at the New York Times.

The Fiendish Cowards at the NYT Admit That "Gang Rape Story Lacked Balance"

The New York Times' Public Editor Arthur Brisbane published a shameful rebuttal to this NYT story that came out a few days ago about a gaggle of perpetually tumescent black lads who had their way with an 11 year old taco bunny in Houston, entitled "Gang Rape Story Lacked Balance."

Oh really?

The fact that the disingenuous white liberals at the Times would publish such a disavowal of this article without even admitting to the ONE thing that truly made the article shameful - i.e. failing to mention the races of the perps (and to a lesser degree, the "victim") - gives you a clear idea of just how spineless the reality distortionists at the New York Times truly are.

More Sucking Up To Muslims from the Deluded Dhimmis at the New York Times

3/10/11 - Click to Enlarge
In yet another slurping, French-kissing, Muslim-hugging article published today in the pages of Amerika's newspaper of record, entitled "Police in Los Angeles Step Up Efforts to Gain Muslims' Trust," the Dhimmis at the Times goosestep down the Boulevard of Misinformation in their never-ending campaign to prop up all things third world, and smear and sneer at all things Western.

In a lame attempt to counter the Congressional hearings led by Peter King, the bespectacled do-gooders at the NYT have donned the proverbial burka, and thrust their posterior into the air while facing Mecca to better facilitate their penetration by the dirty-bearded practitioners of the Religion of Peace.

From the article:
"More than a dozen members of the Muslim American Homeland Security Congress, an advisory group initiated by Sheriff Baca, said at a meeting last week that Muslims in particular had a large stake in preventing further terrorist attacks because if something happens, it is their community that comes under scrutiny, their members who face suspicion and discrimination.
The Times Won't Be Happy Till You're Doing This, Too

Meanwhile, one page over (on page A19 of the national section), the scum at the New York Times carry on with their relentless campaign to smear the Catholic Church with yet another trivial article that is used as an excuse to publish the words "Church Abuse Scandal" in large headline typeface. The article "Cardinal Draws Praise In Sex Abuse Scandal," by Times communist Katharine Q. Seelye (email her) - who specializes in attacking the Catholic Church, which by the way though it may have a few horny priests in its ranks, is hands-down one of the greatest forces for good in the world and in the history of Western Civilization. Try traveling to the remotest corners of Africa: the only place you will find a semblance of sanity and civilization will be in the ubiquitous Catholic missions, the original victims of that most curious affliction, "competitive altruism," which the New York Times has caught with a vengeance, only in their case the affliction manifests itself by a determination to "afflict the comfortable," which means attack the winners (Western Civilization) whenever and wherever possible.

Hopefully, the delusional reality fugitives at the New York Times will regret that they did not abide by that time-honored axiom: "Be careful what you wish for."
